I have had a go at sewing Jeans fabric together. Working well so far.

First attempt

Got some running stitch on my coat pocket. Repair successful.

Local area results

In my local area I found a view places to practice my hand sewing skills.

I look foreword to visit some of the places to gain better skills and meet people with common
interest.

Looked up running stitch technique and found a video on Youtube showing a tutorial of running stitch.
This video explains in an easy and simple way to get familiar with the technique.
The video is not long but holds all the basic information for beginners

My favourite tip so far is Ironing the fabric before and after use. I believe it is important to get the right measurements for making fabric come together.
Ironing the clothes before had also gives I a professional and polished look.
